Three Principles
Documents before the meeting
A tax audit report, a decision, a claim or a summons can be sent in advance by Telegram or email. The meeting is then spent on decisions rather than on reading papers.
The city and the region have different courts
Disputes of Moscow companies are heard by the Arbitrazh Court of the City of Moscow, those of the Moscow Region by the Arbitrazh Court of the Moscow Region. Their appeal courts differ, the Ninth and the Tenth Arbitrazh Courts of Appeal, while the cassation court is shared: the Arbitrazh Court of the Moscow District.
Outside Moscow, the case can still be handled
Arbitrazh cases are conducted through the My Arbitr system and web conferences (Art. 153.2 of the Arbitrazh Procedure Code), and consultations take place by video. Interrogations, investigative actions and hearings in criminal cases require personal attendance, which is planned in advance.
Moscow cases are decided in Moscow offices: at the inspectorate, in court and at the investigator's. The attorney needs to be there on the right day.
